Maccabi Tel Aviv F.C.

An Israeli football club, one of Israel’s oldest and most successful football clubs, and which plays in the Premier League. The club was founded in 1906, and since 2009 it has been owned by the Jewish-Canadian billionaire Mitch Goldhar. Maccabi Tel-Aviv F.C. is the most decorated club in Israel. The club leads the table of clubs that won the league championship with 22 championships, and leads the table of clubs that won the state cup with 23 cups, 7 of which were in championship seasons (double), and 1 which was in a championship season and win of the TOTO cup (treble). In addition, the club leads the table of winners of the TOTO cup for the Premier League, together with Maccabi Haifa and Hapoel Petah Tikva, with 4 wins. Maccabi Tel-Aviv also won the Asia Club Championship twice and is the only Israeli club that played in the first league in all of its seasons and that was never relegated.
